PUR Sheathed control cable
This cable is ideal for outdoor or indoor use because of the extremely tough polyurethane sheathing materials. The ÖLFLEX® Classic 400 P range is designed for heavy duty industrial applications, for machine tool and plant manufacturing, or other instances where cables are exposed to heavy wear and tear.
ÖLFLEX® ROBUST Number Coded Cores
ÖLFLEX® ROBUST cables are connecting cables for flexible use and
fixed installation for robust mechanical use. At room temperature they have increased resistance against acids, caustic solutions and certain vegetable, animal and mineral oils. This range of cables is ideally suited for use in agricultural, food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.
Specification
• Cores of fine wire strands of plain copper wire with
• PVC core insulation twisted in layers. Outer sheath silver-
grey PUR, bacteria and hydrolysis resistant, halogen free and
flame retardant. Cores black with white numbers
• Minimum bending radius for flexing: 400 P: 12.5 x cable diameter

• Conductor: Flexible stranded tin coated to Class 6 EN 60228, Separator: Paper tape between the conductor and insulation, Insulation: Ethylene- propylene rubber (EPR) type GP4 acc. to BS 7655, Sheath: HOFR (Heat and Oil resistant, flame retardant) acc. to BE EN50363 - Orange
• Voltage rating: 100V (450V for non-welding applications if cable is suitably protected from mechanical damage)
• Temperature Rating: -20°C to +85°C
• Minimum Bend Radius: 6 x overall diameter
• Conforms to 0361TQ BS 638 Part 4
